Hijab Event Held In Japan（ひじゃぶイベント開催）

2023.8.16にFujikawaguchiko Masjidの前の大池公園にて、ひじゃぶをイベント開催します。

日本ではイスラム教のひじゃぶのイメージは「男尊女卑」であったり、「服装の不自由」であったり、あまり良いものではありません。

そのため、ひじゃぶを着用している女性を異質な目で見る人も少なくありません。

私達は、そんな日本のひじゃぶのイメージを覆し、イスラム教を正しく理解し、もっと身近に感じてもらえるよう、このイベントを企画しています。

Hijab event will be held on August 16, 2023 at Oike Park in front of Fujikawaguchiko Masjid.

In Japan, the image of Islamic hijab is not a good one, as it is seen as “male chauvinistic” and “ill-dressed”.

For this reason, many people look at women wearing hijab with alien eyes.

We are organizing this event to overturn this image of hijab in Japan and to help people understand Islam correctly and feel more familiar with it.
