2023年8月16日、Fujikawaguchikoマスジド前の大池公園でひじゃぶイベントを開催。
当日は早朝から午後三時過ぎまで雨。時折激しく雨の降る悪天候だった。
にも関わらず、多くの日本人女性がひじゃぶ着用に挑戦してくれた。
ボランティアのインドネシアの女性たちが、イベントをサポートしてくれた。
彼女たちのフレンドリーな対応は、日本におけるイスラム教のイメージを大きく変えたことだろう。
また、色とりどりのひじゃぶを選び着用した日本人女性達のひじゃぶのイメージも大きく変わったことだろう。
Hijab event on August 16, 2023 at Oike Park in front of Fujikawaguchiko Masjid.
It rained from early morning until after 3:00 pm that day. The weather was bad with heavy rain at times.
In spite of this, many Japanese women tried to wear hijab.
Volunteer Indonesian women supported the event.
Their friendly and helpful attitude must have changed the image of Islam in Japan.
The image of hijab by the Japanese women who chose and wore the colorful hijab must have also changed dramatically.
