Right and Left” ~Symbols for Emphasizing Purity, Righteousness, and Goodness~

It is common in religion to distinguish between positive and evil, good and bad, good and bad, pure and unclean.

So is Islam. Religiously, left and right are distinguished to emphasize purity, righteousness, and goodness.

As a symbolic teaching, there are two angels on the left and right who record the deeds of each of us, the right angel records the good deeds and the left angel records the bad deeds.

The right-hand priority of Muslims is stipulated in the Qur’an.

❶ [Aisha La La. Rasulullah s.a.w. was answered right side first in performing all the holy things, and when combing hair and putting on shoes.

❷ [Hafshah r.a. said. The Rasulullah s.a.w. used his right hand to eat, drink and dress. For other tasks, the left hand was used. ]

❸ [Abu Hurairah r.a. said. Rasulullah s.a.w. says, “When you put on your shoes, put them on right side first. ]

❹ [Abu Qotadah said. Nabi s.a.w. says, “When you urinate, don’t touch your pubic area with your right hand.

As mentioned above, it is said about right and left.
