Lie~

And do not (say) according to what you do not know.” (Qur’an 17:36)

In Islam, lying is seen as evil.

People habitually lie for various reasons. And the lack of awareness that lying is evil is a very serious problem. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) always tells us about the importance of honesty.

For example, lying about things like “I was too busy” or “I forgot,” or saying things that could be taken as promises, such as “I’ll call you tomorrow” or “I’ll come back next week,” without intending to do so, and not fulfilling them.
These may be lies to give others a good impression of you, or to adjust your relationship with them so that it does not become disharmonious.
However, lying is sure to discredit you and make the other person suspicious of you.

The perniciousness of lying is closely related to hypocrisy.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) tells us that anyone who possesses any of the following four qualities is a complete hypocrite.
And anyone who possesses any one of these qualities will continue to have the nature of a hypocrite.

● Betraying trust
●Lying in conversation
●Breaking promises
●Tells falsehoods during arguments

Hypocrisy is nothing but “false goodness” and “lies.

Correctness leads one to goodness. Goodness leads one to heaven.
One is marked by Allah as “honest” when one speaks righteous words.
Lying leads one to evil. Evil leads one to Hell.
By lying, one is marked by Allah as a “liar.”
