年に1度実施されるイスラム教の宗教的大きな祭典（祝日）です。犠牲祭という日本語訳を聞くと「何を犠牲にするのか？」と少し驚くかもしれません。
犠牲祭にはイスラム教徒の行うべき五行の一つ【喜捨】の目的があり、財に余裕のあるイスラム教徒が現品を提供し、生活に困窮している人たちに富を分け与えます。
犠牲祭における現品とは羊やヤギ・牛のことです。犠牲祭に際し、屠畜が行われます。屠畜される家畜を財に余裕のある人が購入し、1/3の肉を自分達家族のため、1/3の肉を親戚縁者のため、1/3を生活困窮者に分配します。犠牲祭で屠畜された動物の肉は販売されることはありません。
この日は「生き物の命の尊さ」と「食べられることの有難み」など、私達が生きる上で大切な原点に立ち返り、皆で生の悦びを祝う日です。
犠牲祭の由来
神が信仰心を試すために預言者イブラヒムに対し、アブラハムの息子イスマイルを「生贄に捧げよ」と命じます。イブラヒムが神の命に従い、我が息子を捧げようとすると、神はその信仰心を称え、替わりに動物を犠牲に捧げることを告げられた･･･という言い伝えにならって実施されています。
そのため犠牲祭は「信仰心を称え祝う」日でもあります。
犠牲祭（Eid-Al-Adha）2022
イスラム歴1443年Dhul Hijjahの月の観測結果により、2022年7月10日（日曜日）FujikawaguchikoMasjidにてEid-Al-Adhaが開催されました。
当日は100名以上のイスラム教徒がFujikawaguchikoMasjidに一同に会しました。
国籍を問わず、同じ神を信仰する家族として、共に称え、悦びを分かち合う貴重な時間となりました。
Eid-Al-Adha

When you hear the Japanese translation of Eid al-Adha, you may be a little surprised at “what is the sacrifice?”
The sacrifice festival aims at one of the five acts that Muslims should do, and rich Muslims provide goods and share wealth with the poor.
The actual items of the sacrifice festival are sheep, goats and cows. Slaughter is carried out during the sacrifice festival. Rich Muslims buy livestock and slaughter them for food. Distribute one-third of the meat to the family, the remaining one-third to relatives, and the remaining one-third to the poor. .. Meat of animals slaughtered in Eid al-Adha will not be sold.
This day is a day to celebrate the joy of living together by returning to the important origins of our lives, such as “the importance of living things” and “the joy of eating.”
Origin
Allah orders the Prophet Ibrahim to “sacrifice” Ibrahim’s son Ismail to test his faith. When Ibrahim obeyed Allah’s command and tried to sacrifice his son, Allah praised his faith and was told to sacrifice animals instead … ..
Therefore, Eid al-Adha is also a day to “celebrate faith”.

Eid-Al-Adha was held at Fujikawaguchiko Masjid on Sunday, July 10, 2022, based on the observations of the month of Dhul Hijjah in 1443.
More than 100 Muslims met Fujikawaguchiko Masjid on the day.
It was a precious time to praise and share joy as a family who worship the same God regardless of nationality.
